Who Should Attend:

The Safe Pass Programme is a one-day Safety Awareness Training programme aimed at all construction personnel, including new entrants, to ensure that they have a basic knowledge of health and safety.

• Accident Reporting and Emergency Procedure
• Accident Prevention
• Health and Hygiene
• Manual Handling
• Working at Heights
• Working with Electricity
• Use of Hand Held Equipment and tools

• Safe use of vehicles
• Noise and Vibration
• 18 Multiple-choice questions (13 correct answers to pass)

Pre-course Requirements:

Participants must have a good working knowledge of the English Language. Courses can be delivered in languages other than English through prior arrangement with Carraig Safety, and where all participants on the same course speak the same language.

Assessment/Certification:

Participants complete a written exam. On successful completion of the exam participants will be issued with a letter of completion as they await the result of their FAS Safe Pass card.
IMPORTANT!

• PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE A PASSPORT-SIZED PHOTOGRAPH WITH THEM AT REGISTRATION ON THE MORNING OF THE COURSE.
• PARTICIPANTS PHOTOGRAPHS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE COURSE HAS BEEN DELIVERED.
• LATE ATTENDEES WILL NOT BE ADMITTED AFTER THE COURSE INTRODUCTION BY THE TUTOR
