Safety Committee Course

It is well known that safety committees have the potential to be a very effective method of creating a ground-up safety culture and communication network. However the number of inadequate committees far out-weighs the effective ones. Committees live or die, succeed or fail on the basis of a number of core issues, including their composition, their terms or reference and the organisation's commitment to health and safety.

This course aims to participants with the building blocks to set up a health and safety committee which will be effective and results orientated. The course takes into account the requirements of the fourth schedule of the Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005.

Who Should Attend:

Health and Safety Officers and Managers, Human Resource or Personnel Officers and Managers or anyone who wants to pursue the idea of a Safety Committee. Prospective committee members will also find the course useful.
