The Safe Pass Programme is a legal requirement aimed at all construction site personnel, to ensure that they have a basic knowledge of Health and Safety and will be able to work on site without being a risk to themselves or others who might be affected by their acts or omissions.
Under the Health & Welfare at work Act 2005 all construction workers are bound by law to hold a valid Safe Pass card. The employer under section 10, 25 & 26 of Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act, 2005 is responsible to allow employee’s time off from their duties to attend safe pass courses as may be reasonable having regard to their health and safety without loss of remuneration
The Safe Pass Programme will cover the following -
All construction site personnel, including new entrants, construction apprentices and trainees, and others who require Safe Pass to gain access where there is a requirement to have Safe Pass.
Participants who have successfully completed the Safe Pass Training Programme will be registered with SOLAS and issued with a registration card.
It is condition of renewal of the SOLAS Safe Pass registration card that participants must update their safety awareness training every four years.
Duration: 1 Day 8.00am to 5.00pm
Valid for: 4 years

No Experience is necessary.

The successful canditate will receive a Solas Safe Pass Card
