These Terms and Conditions apply to the provision courses offered by Carraig Safety Consultants Ltd.

1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms: ‘We’ and or ‘Us’ means Carraig Safety Consultants Ltd. ‘You’ means the customer. ‘Enroll’ means the process of enrolling, booking or ordering a course and the term Enrolment shall be construed accordingly. ‘Delegates’ is the term we use in reference to our learners/ customers attending the course.

2. Provision of Services

Once you have placed an order with Carraig Safety, you will receive an order confirmation by email. Carraig Safety Consultants Ltd reserves the right to deliver course materials in any format.

3. Course Fee

The course fee covers all charges including documentation, administration, certification and moderation.

4. Consultancy Fee

The Consultancy fee covers all as per quote received.

5. Methods of Course Delivery

Our training is delivered via classroom attendance. Some of our courses involves, workshops, practical’s, projects and written assessments.

In Carraig Safety, our aim is to ensure every public course will go ahead, however, should there be insufficient numbers to run a particular course, learners will be moved to the next available dates. Carraig Safety Consultants Ltd reserves the right to change course dates and delivery times without any prior notification or agreement.

6. QQI/ PHECC Courses – “Preferred Entry Levels” & “Special Requirements”

On QQI/ PHECC Courses, there is specific requirements needed to gain on to some courses. Delegates will need to confirm “Preferred Entry Levels” & “Special Requirements” as listed on each course. All delegates will be asked to provide evidence of this after they enroll. Once enrolment has been submitted, no refunds will be provided if students fail to provide evidence of the “Preferred Entry Level” & “Special Requirements” they confirmed during the enrolment on a specific course.

7. Your Rights to Cancel

Cancellation/Refundconditions:
Should you decide to cancel your order you may do so provided that you notify Carraig Safety Consultants Ltd in writing within 5 working days from start date of consultancy/ course date. You are also required to return all materials to Carraig Safety Consultants Ltd and bear the cost of this return.


If you cancel your order in accordance with these terms, a refund will be made to you, using the same method as you made your original payment. However, please note that all courses carry a cancellation charge of 10% of the course price which covers administration, registration and postage fees which is non-refundable. No refunds will be provided if Point 6 (above) requirements are not met. All refund credits will take 30 days from date of written request and accepted refund.

8. Course Study Timeframe

The time allowed to complete each course is detailed on this website. Extensions to project return timeframes, may be requested but are allowed at the sole discretion of Carraig Safety. Additional administration charges may apply.

All delegates who do not submit all materials needed for a particular course, and with no extra time allowance from Carraig Safety will not receive certification and may be liable for complete re-enrolment and full course payments again upon reactivation

9. Quality

We will provide the courses in accordance to each course description as detailed on our website. All representations, warranties and / or commitments not expressly set out in these Terms and Conditions (whether implied by law, conduct, statute or otherwise) are hereby excluded to the maximum extent permissible at law. We reserve the right to reformat any course material and website information at anytime.

10. Payment

All Card purchases may be subject to a non refundable card handling fee of 10% of the course price. Such payments are normally debited to your account on day of order or within 24 hours.
We reserve the right to change all prices displayed on our website.

11. Complaints

In the unfortunate event that you are not entirely satisfied with one of our products,
complaints can be made in the following ways:

  • Discussion of complaint with any staff member you have been dealing with.
  • The Complaint should be made in writing to us by email or post and include name/ delegate contact details, product/ course name, date and venue, and give a detailed description of the nature of the complaint.

We will:

  • Acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and respond within 10 working days.
  • Get back to you with a substantive and knowledgeable response within 10 working days and advise you of the name of the person dealing with the complaint if further investigations are required.
  • Use your complaint as an opportunity to put things right and to take action to ensure that the problem does not reoccur.
  • Attempt to find a solution.
  • Aim to resolve your complaint to your complete satisfaction as soon as possible.
  • Bring the complaint to our objective and independent complaints panel to discuss.
  • Set a date for a complaint to be considered by a panel.
  • Treat the complaint in confidence unless a complainant wishes otherwise.

12. Our Obligations to You

The exclusions and limitations of liability contained in these Terms and Conditions do not apply to: Any loss or damage resulting from death or personal injury caused by our negligence; Loss or damage arising from fraudulent misrepresentation; or any other losses which may not be excluded or limited by law. In the event of a Postal Dispute or other such events which are beyond our reasonable control we shall make every reasonable effort to get your product/ certificate/ card to you as soon as is reasonably practical.

In no event shall we be responsible to you for any loss of profits, loss of earnings, loss of anticipated savings, loss of revenue or loss of goodwill that you may suffer. Further, in no event shall we be liable to you for indirect or consequential losses that you might suffer. Our maximum aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount of the course fee paid.

13. Your obligations to Us

In accordance with Copyright Law you are not permitted to reproduce or modify any part of a course, store it in a retrieval system or transmit it in any form by any means – electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise without the prior written permission of Carraig Safety Consultants Ltd.

14. Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

When you enroll for a course with Carraig Safety Consultants Ltd whether it be by telephone, post or online it is a condition of all enrolments that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

15. General

These terms are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with Irish Law. Any dispute arising between us or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the non – exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us in relation to the provision by us to you of a course and they replace and supersede any prior arrangements between us in relation to the publication.
You acknowledge that you are not relying on any statement made by us or any of our representatives with regard to the course other than those expressly set out in these Terms.

Copyright Information

All text, graphics, user interfaces, visual interfaces, photographs, trademarks, logos, sounds, music, artwork and computer code (collectively, “content”), including but not limited to the design, structure, selection, coordination, expression, “look and feel” and arrangement of such content, contained on the site is owned, controlled or licensed by or to Carraig Safety Consultants Ltd.
 

Except as expressly provided in these Terms of Use, no part of the site and no content may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted or distributed in any way (including “mirroring”) to any other computer, server, web site or other medium for publication or distribution or for any commercial enterprise, without Carraig Safety Consultants Ltd express prior written consent.
 

You may use information on Carraig Safety Consultants Ltd website (such as course information) purposely made available by Carraig Safety Consultants Ltd, provided that you

(1) not remove any proprietary notice language in all copies of such documents,

(2) use such information only for your personal, non-commercial informational purpose and do not copy or post such information on any networked computer or broadcast it in any media,

(3) make no modifications to any such information,

(4) not make any additional representations or warranties relating to such documents.


You may not forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any message or transmittal you send to Carraig Safety Consultants Ltd on or through the site or any service offered on or through the site. You may not pretend that you are, or that you represent, someone else, or impersonate any other individual or entity.
You may not use the site or any content for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms of Use, or to solicit the performance of any illegal activity or other activity, which infringes the rights of Carraig Safety Consultants Ltd or others.
